How's it going? I'm Belle.
I'm an actress, writer, and director in New York City, raised on a farm in Louisiana. From Bossier to Brooklyn, I’m as comfortable on the subway in rush hour as I am on a four-wheeler in the mud.
One of the more impressive things I've ever done was melt an automatic transmission into a solid block. My father's mechanic said, "Well damn if that isn't the most impressive thing I've ever seen..."
Later on in life, other accomplishments and good times include work with NYC theatre companies like The Shelter, Barefoot, La Mama, Nylon Fusion, Fresh Ground Pepper and the LAByrinth.
I'm a character actress who's casting ranges from a dominatrix, a paranoid schizophrenic, a meth head, a salty lush sidekick, and a worn out mom on the verge of a mental break. My jokes are flatline, my violence is unsuspecting, and my sex threat is palpable. I like to think I add a special spiciness to every script I read, and I work to stay uninhibited in my craft.
My work has been called "versatile" and "accomplished" by critics, and “just marvelous!" by Lanford Wilson himself.
Looking forward to what's next,
